Wanda F Carter MPH, CHES, is Adjunct Professor at Kaplan University in the Master of Public Health Program. She is also an adjunct faculty in Health Care Administration at Axia College (U of Phoenix), LA College, and Ashford University. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management from Shorter College in Marietta, GA and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Public Health from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. She is well-versed in a variety of health education areas including chronic diseases, childhood obesity, HIV, and tobacco prevention. In addition, she has thorough knowledge of current healthcare trends, outcomes, research, managed care, and health-related quality of life issues.
